Winter Storm

The Big Storm is nearly upon us. Some details and information: 

Details: 

• Snow begins around 1 pm (Between 12 - 2 pm). 
• Snow becomes heavy to very heavy at times through 1 am. 
• Snow may mix with some sleet during the late evening. 
• Snow becomes lighter after 1 am. 
• Snow ends by 6 am Thu. 
• Total snow: 18-22" with localized amounts to 26". 

More Information:  

• Warm air looks to stay just to our south. But it will be near by for several hours late this evening. 
• If warm air inches into our area, expect the snow to become more granular, smaller and sleet to mix in. It may bounce back and forth for a while. If this happens for a 2-4 hour period, the snow amounts drop to 14-18". 
• If the warm air stays further south, expect the snow to remain fluffier, bigger. If this happens snow amounts increase to 22-26".
