![]() You hear about people who get tired of being inside, suffering from a lack of sunlight and get depressed. We call it the winter blues. Well, if you are suffering, I feel for you as winter will not be letting up soon, but spring is coming, and the daylight is nearly 1 hour longer than back in Dec, plus we have now reached the bottom of the temperature curve, and our average temperatures will climb from here until the Middle of July. So there is hope. Another form of winter blues is my forecast for Sat: HORRIBLE. 2" of snow? Maybe 1/4" if that Sat night. At least it did snow some ... but way off on that forecast. Too much dry air off the mountains to our SW (WV esp. as winds came from there) evaporated the snow. And now I have to adjust Tue -Wed temps a little. the bitter arctic air is a little further west in its invasion, so we will not be as bitter ... still very, very cold. Tues: Mostly sunny, breezy, high: 12. Low: 0 Wed: Mostly sunny, less wind. high: 16. Low: 9. The rest looks good right now. Keep in mind that as we go into February, the weather looks to get stormier, yet still on the cold side. But remember the center of the cold will be to our west, meaning we will be on the cool side, but we can also get storms to lift to our north, meaning snow/ice/rain scenarios. The fun all starts this weekend. Stay tuned.
