Very quick update this morning. First of all, last nights storm behaved as expected. 2-3" locally with 3-4" to our south. Real fluffy stuff. Now to Wed and the possible squalls.
This will not be a big snow, but the impact could be big for travel. During a four hour window from 5 pm - 9 pm a line of snow showers and Squalls will move through our area. Think of a summer line of Thunderstorms. Some storms are heavier than others, but everyone gets something. Apply that idea to this line of snow for Wed. Most will get 1". But some could get up to 3" as the snow will be light and fluffy like Sat and last night. Any squally will be very intense, and this line is not likely to move real fast. Timing: 5 - 9 pm Wed. Accumulation: 1" for all, 3" localized. After this bitter cold renewed. Stay warm. Enjoy the "mild" 25 degrees today and tomorrow!
