The heavy rain came and the heavy rain left. Not before dumping well over 1" rain for most in the southern half of PA. Impressive for January.
Now we get to end the month on a streak of seasonal days. Not much precipitation, if we see any at all. Here are some details: Sun: Breezy at times. maybe a light rain/snow shower. Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu: Increasing sunshine through the week. Cloudiest day appears to be Mon. Dry also. Temps in the 30s for highs and 20s for lows. Seasonal. Fri - Sun of next week looks interesting. The ingredients are there for a significant storm to develop and impact our area Sat - Sun. I do expect a large strengthening storm to impact the eastern US next weekend. But details like:
