Well, the snow forecast worked out really well, if I say so. Not bad since it was made on Wed. Wish it always went that way ... But moving forward ... to the next snow fall ... Monday Night/Tuesday: Monday will start out nice. But clouds will increase bringing us some snow overnight into Tuesday. Unfortunately, the models are having some trouble again. Red Circle: The energy at 500 mb that will give us our snow for Mon night into early Tue. Yet, the models have been putting the precipitation further to the north. I believe the precipitation will be more extensive and further south due to this energy. This does not look like a BIG storm. More like small to maybe moderate IF it intensifies quickly right along the coast. Tuesday: Green Circle: On Tuesday the arctic energy dives south across our area. Snow showers and a few heavier snow squalls will be possible in the afternoon and evening. Snow showers will continue to be a threat through Wednesday with the deep upper low overhead.
Next chance for snow? Thursday night/Friday. Cold Week with highs 30-35 most days, except Wed. On Wed highs will only be in the mid-20’s. Thursday should be a nice dry winter day. Winter is here. Enjoy!
