The weekend weather turned out better than I thought, which is good for the most part. The area of low pressure to our south took its time to develop and was very, very weak at the surface. That resulted in a northerly flow of drier air resulting in more sunshine! I was not complaining though.
It also was a little further south than I expected, so the rain was further south too … it did rain a lot from Lancaster/Harrisburg south. Sunday was about what I expected with the cooler east winds and lots of clouds with some showers. Today … well, the system is moving away, and we will begin to clear out, but it will stay cool for this time of year. Our average highs are now in the upper 70’s, so temps around 70 are on the cooler side. This week (Today through Thursday) will be cooler. Around 70 for highs is about it for Today, Tuesday, and Wednesday. 75 is about it for Thursday. It will try to warm up for Friday into Saturday, only to turn cooler again Sunday. Rain chances are Tuesday with a front dropping south. Then Friday with another front dropping south, and then over the weekend as that front stalls and becomes a focal point for disturbances to move along and bring waves of showers/storms to the region. Enjoy.
