The cold is here for a little while longer. In fact an even colder shot of arctic air will invade our area beginning Thursday and dominate us through Sunday. Highs on Friday and Saturday will struggle to reach 10 degrees! And it will be very windy so it will be very unpleasant. Hope you got some warm place to bundle up and drink some hot chocolate. Brrr.
What about snow? Well, a major significant powerful Nor'ester looks to stay far enough off shore to prevent us from getting walloped with lots of snow. I think we get some light snow, but accumulations will be light. BUT a shift west in the track, which is possible, would bring heavier snow into our area. I do not think that will happen, but confidence in this forecast is lower than usual. If anything changes I will update.
