Below is an image about why I am concerned about Wed and some patchy ice. I have seen many times where the models overstate the amount of warming that occurs in situations where warm air is advancing with cold air damming is likely to occur. That cold air does not leave easily in central PA, especially the valleys.
I would likely lower the high temperature for Wed to near 32 but later in the day.
Another reason for concern is that our ground is frozen. So even if the air temperature is 33 or 34 and rain falls ... ti will still freeze on the very cold frozen ground.
Again, Wed is a concern for spotty ice, something that is not being talked about by many.
