![]() 4-6” of snow Sunday afternoon to early Monday morning. Timing: 1) Start Sunday afternoon as wet snow/rain quickly going to snow. Could be heavy for a time into the evening. Lighter snow into the overnight. Snow ending by mid morning Monday. 2) Very heavy snow accumulations stay south of PA Turnpike down into Maryland. This is a VERY, VERY, DIFFICULT forecast. The water vapor imagery shows how powerful this storm is coming on shore in California. It means business. But the big milky white mass in Canada is our Polar Vortex. It too is very strong and the reason we are so cold. Both are fighting against each other. Who will win? A slight change of 30 miles north or south will make all the difference from as little as 2” to as much as 12” of snow. If there is a change to be made, it will be done Sunday afternoon. Weekly forecast will come out tomorrow afternoon as well. Too much going on right now.
