The air mass we have in place is very dry. Drier than I thought it would remain. This has led to some big swings in temperatures. It chills rapidly at night. And warms rapidly during the day, leading to an overall cool stretch of weather through today. It will remain seasonal today after a chilly start, but we get a nice milder afternoon (average to slightly above actually).  Tomorrow will not be so nice. Neither will Friday. Sat will improve. And Sun will be nice again. And then we have early next week.

Details:
  1. Today: High pressure in control for one more day. Lots of sunshine. Some clouds will try to come in late and will thicken overnight. Rain develops after 3 am.
  2. Thursday: A soaking rain with temps around 40 for most of the day.
  3. Friday: Becoming windy and chilly. Rain/snow showers likely by evening. A coating of snow is if heavier snow showers/squall develops.  Unlikely. But possible.
  4. Saturday: Winds diminish throughout the day. Chilly.
  5. Sunday: Sunshine. Pleasant.
  6. Monday: Cold front moves through with a few rain showers.
  7. Tuesday: Spring-like storm system moves slowly by to out south. Cold air will be pushing south into our area. We may get a cold soaking rain, a rain/snow elevation storm, or some accumulating snow for all (it will be warm with severe weather south of the storm. Unfortunately, we are north of the storm. Welcome to spring weather).
Get out and enjoy today and Sunday. The one’s in between will be good for watching NCAA basketball tournaments.

Enjoy.

Although forceasting the weather is an imperfect science, it is a pleasure to follow what the Creator has made.
