Guess what? Another rainy day is on tap for us. Pretty surprising to get 2 days of soaking rain out of 3 after such a long dry stretch. But it is what it is. I hear no complaints. It will, however, turn sunny and dry starting Monday, and probably last into at least next Saturday. The over-all pattern is the same. Ridge basically dominates, with occasionally dips in upper flow as a trough moves through followed by the ridge rebounding once again into our area.
Here are the weather points:
1. Rain: Arriving late morning and lasting in an on again, off again fashion, into this evening. Expect about 1” with locally higher amounts with any thunderstorms that develop.
2. Cool Temps: Very cool this afternoon with temps settling in the 60s, and Sunday only mid 60s for highs. Chilly Sun night and Mon night with temps below 50 Mon morning.
3. Winds: Fall like Sunday with gusty NW winds developing making for a rare chilly day.
4. Warm Up: It will warm up starting Monday. Lots of sunshine through Friday. Temps becoming summer like once again by Wed.
Saturday: 73. Mostly cloudy. Rain arriving. Heavy in any thunderstorm that develops.
Sunday: 65. Mostly cloudy to partly sunny. Windy esp. in the afternoon. Showers possible.
Monday: 72. Mostly sunny. Much nicer.
Tuesday: 79. Mostly sunny. Warmer.
Wednesday: 81. Mostly sunny. Warm
Thursday: 83. Mostly sunny. Warm.
Friday: 83. Mostly sunny. Warm.
