5 am Update
The arctic air slowed. The number 1 concern was the slowing of the front in our area. At midnight it was 45 at the house here (I know because I had to take care of a cat who wanted in at that time) and thought all was well with the forecast ... however, at 5 am it is only 34 at the house. Hardly a crash in temperatures. You can see that the cold did not rush into our area by the 4:43 current condition map. As a result, it ended as rain as a result. as I mentioned could happen.
There could be a sleet or snow shower this morning but nothing to worry about.
The easy part is that it is now cold. And will be through most of next week before we do it all over again next weekend: warm-up, rain, get colder.
Perhaps some might snow in between.

The education continued as a hobby by reading the blogs of some of the best forecasters in the business. Although forceasting the weather is an imperfect science, it is a pleasure to follow what the Creator has made.
