10:15 am Update
Taking a break right now.
The snow is pretty. Forecast is going well and will do so through 12:30 pm. After that I am not so sure. The radar shows the back edge of the precipitation moving rapidly eastward. Very rapid. If it does not build a little more on that back edge, the snow will cut off early.
A better forecast would probably be for 2-4" of snow.
That back edge is going to cause some wailing and gnashing of teeth among snow lovers. Maybe it will fill in? Then again, maybe the heavy snow burst coming will pile up enough that we still get several inches. Guess we'll find out. Sleet and freezing rain still an issue for the afternoon and overnight as a new push of precipitation comes in.
Enjoy. Now back to work.
