Winter Is Returning

Going forecast looks good. Some notes on the return to winter:

1. Light snow Tuesday morning. 1-2”
2. Milder Thursday ahead of arctic front. Rain arrives after dark Thursday night and changes to snow overnight into Friday morning. How much snow will depend on strength of low pressure, time of changeover and how much moisture is available. These cannot be answered yet. But by Wednesday morning I will have a good idea.
3. Much colder Fri and beyond.
4. Chance for widespread light snow on Sunday.
5. More chances for winter precipitation the first full week of February.

There are no signs of any major snowstorms as of yet, but light to moderate snowfalls can be expected over the next 10 days.  Winter is coming back from s short slumber.
