Our flowers may be drooping due to moisture sitting on them at times this week, but they will be happy with all the rain that will help them grow. Plus the temperatures will be mild with high humidity.

In short it will feel like summer. Plants will love it.

As for you and I, the pattern is pretty simple. A trough is set up in the center of the nation, giving us a moist SW flow of air from the deep south. As this trough slowly migrates east and lifts NE it will bring daily chances of showers/storms to our region. This will mean lots of clouds with partial sunshine. The days will be seasonal, but the nights will be very mild and muggy. Better conditions will prevail over the weekend as a front passes through bringing more refreshing air.

Daily Details:

Tuesday-Wednesday: Mostly cloudy to partly sunny. Humid. Showers and storms scattered around. Not a washout, but not dry all the time either. Any shower/storm could bring heavy rain. Highs near 80 both days (amount of sun is key, could be higher with more sunshine). Lows near 67.

Thursday-Friday: The wettest days of the week overall. Widespread showers/storms both days with some heavy rain possibly. Expect 1" of rain with locally a bit more. Humid still. Some partial sunshine is expected. Highs both days near 77. Lows near 67 for Thu night, and near 64 for Friday night.

Saturday-Sunday: Much nicer. Drier and cooler air moves in from the NW. Increasing sunshine Sat and just beautiful on Sunday. Highs Sat near 77, with a low near 55. Sunday high near 82 and a low near 50 at night.

Enjoy.
