That is right. Warm weather is coming starting next Tuesday and lasting into next Friday. Highs in the 70's and 80's sounds quite nice if you ask me. We've earned it. Too bad it won't last. But that is another story for another time.
Before we break out the shorts ... we've got a bout of showers today and tomorrow. The showers today could be heavy in a few spots, but for the most part .25" of rain or less will do it for most. Tomorrow will be about the same, but the showers will be in the afternoon, rather than the morning.
Behind this front is an impressive shot of cold air. An upper level low will cut off and move slowly away leaving us with a very chilly and blustery day on Sunday with highs in the 40's (yuk!) But it could be worse as upstate NY and western New England may see some wet snow flakes. The good news is the cold air will not last that long.
Monday will be the start of the recovery process with sunshine and temperatures rising into the lower 60's then the lower 70's for Tue and near 80 for Wed, with lower to middle 80's Thu. Friday will also be warm, but with more clouds and maybe a shower as a front slowly sags in our direction. But that is a week away. Not focusing on that yet.
