Where is the sunshine? I asked that yesterday … and I did see a few rays of sunshine. Better than nothing I guess. Some more grudging improvement Friday and even better on Saturday, but it will stay chilly right through end of next week. That means the “warm-up” I alluded to a couple days ago … (warm up to seasonal temps in mid-upper 50s for beginning of Nov) will be shunted south. Sorry about that. The storm for next week as I also mentioned starting two days ago is becoming rather interesting. It may be noteworthy by producing a good snow for NY and New England … but what about us? Probably a cold rain that could end as or mix with some snow …there is time to iron that out … just giving you a heads up for the Wed – Thu time frame. Well, here is the forecast: Forecast: Tonight: clouds again (so what else is new?),… temps dropping into the upper 30s … Friday: Mostly cloudy, some sun should break out at times … temps rising to near 50 … Friday night: becoming partly cloudy by late at night … cooler with lows dipping into the low 30s Saturday: increasing amounts of sunshine … chilly with highs in the upper 40s … cool NW breeze Saturday night: mostly clear … winds dying down … lows into the upper 20s Sunday: Sunshine … looking great but rather cool … temps uppers 40s to 50 Extended Outlook: 1. A weak system should pass to our south and east Mon – Tue … keeping us nice but chilly 2. Bigger storm for Midweek … some heavier rain, wind and some snow 3. Cold weather will deepen midweek but ease up by next weekend …
