![]() Summer time July style is here. But don’t get too excited. It’s pretty typical heat and humidity. There is some hype trying to be drummed up about the pending heat by using “real feel” or “heat index” values that are higher than the actually temperature. So yes, we may have a heat index of 98 Thu or Fri afternoon. But the actual record high for Thu and Fri is 101 (set in 1998) and for Sat and Sun is 103 (set in 1936). So our heat index will fall short of those actual temperature records. So hot, yes. Extreme? No. So for the upcoming heat episode, our heat index won’t even match the actual record high temperatures! Like I said, nothing unusual. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday will all be typical summer heat and humidity. Temps rounding out near 90 every day with the chance for thunderstorms late Thu/Thu night, Fri/Fri night and late Saturday. It will be cooler on Sunday into Monday before it turns hot for the middle of next week. Points for Next 7 Days:
Details: Wednesday: 90. Mostly sunny. Hot. Humid. Thursday: 91. Mostly sunny. Hot. Humid. Chance for showers/storms. Friday: 91. Mostly sunny. Hot. Humid. Chance for showers/storms. Saturday: 88. Sun and clouds. Hot. Humid. Chance for showers/storms. Sunday: 85. Sun and clouds. Cooler. Less humid. Breeze at time. Monday: 83. Mostly sunny. Pleasantly warm. Tuesday: 87. Mostly sunny. Warmer.
