As you can tell by the title, we are in spring time and we will experience all that spring has to offer this coming week: warmth, cold, wind, calm, rain and yes, snow.

Forecast for the week ahead:

Today: turning out sunny and mild. Small storm I thought would impact us with a chilly rain, will be just to our north, producing a chilly rain/wet snow in upstate NY, but that means it will be pulling warm air north into our area. Good news indeed! Enjoy! High: 60, low: 40.

Sunday-Monday: much colder with sun and clouds. High: 36. Low: 27.

Tuesday: the day some have been hyping for a major “snowstorm” … sorry no major snow storm. Some wet snow will arrive during the day and continue into the night. Some accumulation is possible, but mainly on grass and colder surfaces, including shadowed road surfaces. Accumulation will be mainly after dark. An intense storm will really crank off shore. It will hit New England from central CT to central ME and points east pretty hard with blizzard-like conditions.  High: 35. Low: 29.

Wednesday: windy and chilly. High: 35. low: 24.

Thursday – Saturday: Milder air flowing in from the south overriding the chilly air at the surface makes for a slow warm up starting Thursday and ending Saturday afternoon.High: 40, low: 36 Thu; High: 50, Low: 48 Fri, and High: 59, low: 40 Sat. Rain showers will come later Friday into Saturday.

Sunday-Saturday: First week into April looks as if we have chilly weather, but no real serious cold. There are signs of a possible nice warm up mid week that could last could last a couple of days.
