![]() That stubborn SW ridge giveth and then taketh away. That ridge enables today's storm to ridge E-NE to give us some snow. Will be pretty. Messy on roads, esp. once the sun sets or snow comes down heavy enough. It is Jan and the ground is relatively cold. Expect about 1-2" widespread. But up to 3" possible in SW part of area. Wednesday looks alot like the snow squall day we had one week prior to Christmas. Some will be heavy and could put down a fast 1/2" in the matter of 5 - 10 min. It will be colder and blustery too. Like winter. That ridge will then rebuild itself and warm us up so the snow goes away very quickly starting Friday. In fact, it looks like 60 for Sat and maybe early Sun before colder air returns. Another warm surge is likely to come the middle portion of next week also. Is Spring coming early? No. But it will be warm over this weekend. For those who love snow, enjoy it. For those who don't, enjoy the warm and wet weekend. Something for everyone.
