The weather has people talking about snow next week. I would love to see some snow, esp. since it will turn even colder next week. But I cannot forecast what I wish. I must forecast what I think will happen. And what I think is flurries and snow showers? Yes. Accumulating snowfall? No.
The system for next Mon night into Tue looks similar to what we just had Thu/Thu night. The pattern is too progressive, and it will not allow for a more significant storm to develop at this time.
Snow showers and flurries are likely from off the Great Lakes for Tue into Wed. So, we are likely to see some snow. Just not widespread accumulating snow. Now could things change? Sure. But I doubt it.
That's about all.

Although forceasting the weather is an imperfect science, it is a pleasure to follow what the Creator has made.
