(Note: been away on a two week tour of the central and northern US, but now I am home and it is time to update the forecast.)
If you like it hot ... you will love the next 7 days. It will be hot and humid. The peak of the heat will be from Saturday through Tuesday.. After then it will start to slowly fade away, as the heat dome shifts westward with time and a trough develops in the eastern US by the middle of the month.
Saturday: Hot. Sunny. 92.
Sunday: Hot. Humid. Sunny. 94
Monday: Hot. Humid. Sunny. 95.
Tuesday: Hot. Humid. Mostly sunny. 93.
Wednesday: Hot. Humid. Mostly sunny. Chance for a thunderstorm. 90.
Thursday and Friday: Very warm. humid. Chance for showers and storms. 88.
Summary: The heat dome will build over the NE this weekend, and then expand west next week. As it expands west it will weaken in the east, thus allowing the heat to lessen and the chance for showers and storms to develop once again. By the middle of the month the heat dome should be centered out west, and as a trough re-establishes itself in the east leading to cooler and wetter weather again (probably not as wet as this month has been though)!

Although forceasting the weather is an imperfect science, it is a pleasure to follow what the Creator has made.
