Pretty straight forward forecast for the next few days. The end of the week will be more active and wet, but nothing out of the ordinary. Actually our weather will not be all that unusual for the middle part of Oct. Some chill, some warmth, some rain, some wind, and maybe some thunder thrown in at the end of the week for good measure.
It will be a tale of two seasons as Tropical Storm Raphael races N then NE off the east coast and winter like chill invades the high plains this week. But closer to home, this is what the next couple of days looks like and some highlights for the next week:
Next 24-36 hours:
Monday: a few showers around, breezy and mild. Clouds and some sun. Highs into the mid 60s. Turning colder with a west wind Monday night.
Tuesday: More sun than clouds. A chilly wind from the NW. Highs right around 60. Clear and cold at night.
The Week Head and Beyond:
1. Midweek warmth: Starting Wed and peaking on Thursday.
2. Windy but very mild night Thursday into Friday morning.
3. Big rain likely late this week, centered on Friday. Some thunder is possible Friday
4. Seasonal chill to start next weekend, before more typical Indian Summer-like stretch early next week?

Although forceasting the weather is an imperfect science, it is a pleasure to follow what the Creator has made.
