![]() I must say that this kind of weather is pretty easy to forecast. Lots of sun. Low humidity. Weak cold front mid-week then more sun and low humidity. Pretty straight forward. So far the expected fall pattern of a ridge dominating the east is working our really well. Of course the occasional intrusions of a trough come in, but the ridge rebounds rapidly. Leaving us with lots of sunshine. We will have to see how things progress over the next month, but I expect September to remain quite dry, October closer to average and November to become wet. There are subtle signs that this may work out quite nicely. The only real intrigue is the potential for a more widespread rain on this upcoming Sunday as some tropical moisture may be pulled north ahead and along a cold front pressing SE across the eastern US. It is something to watch. Other than that … pretty nice. Enjoy the cooler mornings, esp. at the of the week. And for you heat lovers: Wed will be more to your liking. Points for Next 7 Days:
