Today’s Discussion:
Well, Monday’s forecast was good. Tue and Wed crashed and burned. Would have been better if they were switched around. Terrible … terrible … terrible. Now Thu, Fri and Sat all look good; must tweak the temps up a little, esp. Fri. Also, need to add in increasing clouds for Sat as the next system is coming along at a good clip, but it will slow down. If it slows enough a wave will develop along it and if it is close enough to our area, Sunday could be wetter than I am now thinking. (But hard to go against “Dry” right now). It could give us some snow showers. No accumulations to worry about, just maybe a light coating on the ridges Sunday night. It will be blustery and much colder with the likelihood of seeing for the fist time since last winter, some snow flakes. It will stay cool but warm some next week Mon and Tue before the next storm approaches from the SW on Wed/Thu. This looks like a wetter system with a decent potential to produce a nice rain. BUT when its dry, it tends to stay dry. Again, the pattern is changing or evolving toward what is pictured for winter. I also, do not see it locking in until the middle portion of December at the earliest.
