The title is less pessimistic than it appears. Most of the rain this weekend will be Sat night. So the timing looks pretty good. Leaving us with at least a good start to Sat and a good ending to Sunday.
The weekend storm which nearly all models said "No" to on Monday are all saying, "Yes" now. This is why one cannot just look at a pretty model map and say, "This is easy to forecast. Nice ridge in the east. A great sunny dry weekend on the way." Then two days later ... "oops. Got some rain coming."
Models make errors. You know them and correct them. Result: Rainstorm for the weekend. It is delayed about 18 hours from my original thinking, but it is coming.
Enjoy the next 3 days of sunshine with seasonal temps.

Pastor Terry. He received his bachelors degree in Meteorology from the State University of New York at Oneonta, in 1994. The education continued as a hobby by reading the blogs of some of the best forecasters in the business. Although forceasting the weather is an imperfect science, it is a pleasure to follow what the Creator has made.
