A major Nor'easter will impact our area starting Tue through Wed. This storm will be slow moving, have tons of moisture to work with and is on the favored path that typically dumps lots of snow on us. HOWEVER, this lack of strong cold air will make it hard to get a major league dumping here.
The storm will need to manufacture its own cold air. I believe it will, and the rain that starts will change to snow for all of central PA. The higher your elevation, the more you will get. I will not issue any amounts at this time, but do expect some accumulating wet snow sometime during Tue-Wed. Remember it will start as rain.
Think about the day before Thanksgiving snow and you will get a good idea about wet snow and the importance of air temperatures.
More later Sun Afternoon/Evening.
