Today’s Discussion:
Happy October 31st! Every day is a day to rejoice in, so have a happy day. The weather is pleasant, much cooler than yesterday, but it will start to warm up and peak near 70 or higher again this Thu! Woohoo! No heat needed. First things first: Today sun and clouds, breezy cooler. Cold tonight, partly sunny tomorrow. Still cool though. Wednesday, it will begin to warm up with sun and clouds, and mild temps into the 60’s. Very warm southwesterly flow on Wed night leading to a day like Sunday in many regards: Late day showers/thunderstorms after very warm day. Mid 70s cannot be ruled out if the cold front is slower like it was yesterday. Now this cold front on Thu afternoon/evening is what appears to be the beginning of a slow shift in the weather pattern. It will not happen overnight, but the process of transitioning from a dominate ridge to a dominate trough is beginning. The change will occur in New England first, then spread west from there. This also means a ridge will develop over the west and into NW Canada over time. By the time Thanksgiving rolls around the eastern US should be quite chilly. But until then, basically dry and mild for most of this week, with some showers Thu. Enjoy.
