Where is the sunshine? It has now been 7 days since we had at least a partly sunny day … and the end is in sight. By Friday some decent sunshine should appear and especially over the weekend. It will be cool but to see that bright ball in the sky and feel its warmth will be wonderful. The early to mid part of next week could feature a decent rain storm (maybe some snow in the mountains), no big deal considering what we just went through. The real story is the continued cool temps. Right now we should have highs in mid – upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s based on 30 year average. You know … 58 degrees sounds really nice right about now. Sorry, no big warm-ups in store for us for a while, as I fully expect a cold November. Well, here is the forecast: Forecast: Tonight: clouds again, a few light showers are possible … dropping into the upper 30s … Thursday: Mostly cloudy, but some sun is possible … Temps rising to near 50 … Thursday night: mostly cloudy … lows to near 40 Friday: Some sunshine breaking out … temps rise to lower 50s Friday night: becoming partly cloudy to clear … colder with lows to near 30 Extended Outlook: 1. Weekend: should feature lots of sunshine (any sun will be an improvement) but cool temps. Lows could be in the upper 20s Sunday morning. 2. A possible storm could hit during the Mon- Wed time period. It may be too far east to give us much. 3. Colder weather will follow late next week, bringing some possible some snow showers … For a perscpecive on Superstorm Sandy click
