The big juicy storm is knocking at the door. This storm will significantly impact us during the overnight into Saturday morning. By noon it will all done and gone, and with temps in the mid to upper 30's tomorrow the roads, walks, and drives will clear up very nicely for Sunday morning.
Final Forecast: Snow arriving around 10 pm with heavy snow after midnight and continuing until about 6 am. Light snow will still fall until mid morning and become intermittent until around noon. Total snow will average 4-6". (Some ice could get involved for a time after 4 am. We will be close to the changeover line so it's iffy.) Some clearing is possible in the afternoon, as temps jump to near 37 on Saturday. The winds will pick up late, and be breezy for Sat night as temps drop into the upper 20s. Sunday: Sunshine and increasing clouds. Pleasant as temps rise to the mid 30's. Light snow will arrive during the night and continue into the first half of Monday. This storm looks to hit the WV, MD, Northern VA, DE region harder than our area at this time. Still one to watch. Not simply just snow showers. Very cold weather will follow Monday's system.
