Discussion:
Lots of clouds through midday Monday. Could this bring rain? It looks like it will at that. In fact, due to that big ol' western Atlantic ridge, the front is slowing down considerably. This means a longer duration of possible rain, and more time for available moisture to stay around. In a nut shell, it will rain. And some of that rain could be heavy. I would expect a widespread 1” with locally higher amounts possible. The slow down means more rain which we need, but it also means wetter Monday. After the front clears the area Monday afternoon, a new dry spell sets in through the rest of the week. A weak front drops down Tue, keeping the lid of the building warmth for a couple of days. But other than that sunshine and dry with a warm up at the end of the week. Next Fri and Sat could be fairly hot, esp. Sat. However, major changes may be taking place after next weekend. This could mean the first real taste of fall weather: breezy and chilly. But will it last? More on that during the week. Points for Next 7 Days:
*Details: Tonight: 65. Cloudy. More humid. Sunday: 75-77. Cloudy. Showers and thunderstorms likely esp. late and overnight. Monday: 75-78. Showers in the morning. Afternoon clearing. Tuesday: 80-83. Partly to mostly sunny. Wednesday: 78-81. Mostly sunny. Nice. Thursday: 81-84: Mostly sunny. Warm. Friday: 84-87. Mostly sunny. Very warm. More humid. *Please note the range of temperature is to accommodate the valleys and ridges more appropriately as its often warmer in the valleys and cooler on the ridge tops.
