Finally a dry stretch of weather. After the damaging flooding and ongoing recovery for those impacted by the floods, at least we get some dry weather now.
High pressure will control our weather for Sat, Sun, and into Monday. Dry and seasonable weather is expected into Monday. Starting Tues the wet weather looks to return. BUT not like what we just had. It will turn humid, and any showers/storms that do form will be capable of producing heavy downpours. BECAUSE of the recent excessive rains, the threat of flash flooding will remain rather high. Here is the daily Forecast: Sat: Sunny to partly cloudy. Less humid. Cooler ... 81 Sunday: Sunny to partly cloudy ... 81 Monday: Increasing clouds. Chance for a shower or a storm ... 80. Tuesday and Wednesday: Partly sunny. Showers and storms likely. Humid ... 79 Thursday: Partly to mostly sunny. Chance for afternoon showers or storms. Humid ... 82 Note: The idea of not having any more consecutive 90 degree days for the month of July after our heatwave around the 4th of July hit, will turn out correct. I now think we may make it into the middle of August without consecutive 90 degree days. Although, I not as confident with this idea as I was about the last three and a half weeks of July. I am very confident in the idea of August also being wet to very wet. Enjoy.
