A changeable week is ahead, as the headline states.
Last Friday I speculated about Mon being cloudy. I wasn’t ready to bite on it, but it was possible. Well, it is cloudy. On shore flow and an advancing warm front mean we don’t see the sunshine today. We also stay chilly all day too. Highs only into the lower 60’s. Very autumn-like. A big change will occur for Tue and Wed as the warm front lifts through, and a westerly flow develops. Lots of hot air to our W and SW. Highs reach near 80 on Tue (depends on how fast the clouds erode) and into the middle, even some upper 80’s for Wed. That is hot for the beginning of Oct. But that will be the last of the hot weather for 2019. A strong front moves through on Thursday. This will bring widespread showers and some thunderstorms. Some heavy downpours will be possible. Much colder for Friday and Saturday as high pressure takes over. It will warm up for Sunday, but only to highs near 70. Enjoy.
