The forecast from a week ago did really well. A few degrees too cool midweek, but really an easy forecast. Today ... well the idea of it being cooler was good. But mostly sunny is not even close. But that was a 7 day forecast. Really, the last week was an easy forecast period. The coming 7 days is not.
The coming week will be less sunny, cooler, and much wetter. A major trough will develop just to our west. We will be in the east side. This allows for deep moisture to surge north the beginning of this week, resulting in a soaking rainstorm Tue/Wed time frame. Haven't had much rain since the first week of the month, so a soaking is a good thing. It will be mild and humid prior to the storm passing. Much cooler weather will come in. Could be rather raw and unsettled/damp at the end of next week, but coldest air looks to stay in the central states. Details: Sunday: Clouds and sun. Mild and humid. Early mist? 77. Monday: Clouds and sunshine. Warm and humid. 81. Tuesday: Cloudy. Later afternoon rain through the overnight. 76. Wednesday: Cloudy. Rain ends. Cooler. 63. Thursday: Sun and clouds. Breezy. 64. Friday: Partly sunny. Chance for showers. 62. Saturday: Partly sunny. 64. Enjoy.
