Weekly Outlook:
High: Low: Weather Details Monday: 67 44 Sunny, light breeze at times. A beautiful day. Tuesday 73 53 Mostly sunny, warm. Winds increasing in the afternoon. Wednesday 62 47 Showers before sunrise. Clearing. Cooler. Thursday 58 39 Mostly sunny. Seasonable. Friday 55 36 Increasing clouds and winds. Showers/rain after dark. Saturday 41 25 Windy, cold with sprinkles/flurries. Freeze at night. Sunday 43 26 Sun and clouds. Cold. Less wind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discussion Points: 1. Great week through Thursday. Stormy, cold end to the week. 2. Strong energy diving south out of Canada. Models not handling it correctly yet. Likely too fast with west coast trough, thus pushing east coast trough too far east. Correct both W – SW leads to bigger, wetter storm Fri night into Saturday for Northeast. Snow is not likely here. Flurries yes. But any kind of accumulation is likely in elevations above 1500 feet from north central PA into NY state. 3. Very cold Saturday with strong winds. Growing season will come to an end due to temps in the 20s Sun morning. 4. Nice but chilly Sunday. Milder air will return starting Monday.
