Once again, I am issuing a Beautiful Weather Alert for the rest of this week. The only bump in the road, may be Thursday. But even that won't be all that bad, as it looks right now.
Well, Hurricane Matthew is now gone, having come a lot further north, as I was hinting at late last week. Even Philadelphia got more than 1” of rain, and so did southeast New England, however, we were too far to the NW and got very little. So a split forecast: wrong on the amount of rain, but right on Matthew heading further north. But now he is gone. Lots of flooding clean up to happen down south, so keep those folks in prayer. But for us? This pretty well sums it up, from last week: “Beyond this cold front, nice weather into most of next week. A weak front may pass through around Thu, but not a big deal. Lots of nice Oct weather coming: mild afternoons, and chilly mornings.” Not much to add. Chance frost tonight and Friday night. Otherwise, enjoy the nice fall weather and increasing colors on the trees.
