For the second week of May the weather will be rather appropriate: Some sun, some clouds, some showers, and even possible thunderstorm with afternoon temperatures averaging around 70 degrees.
Not much to talk about today: Sunshine, with a slight chance of an afternoon shower. But don't change any plans. Any shower should be brief, and most of us will NOT get anything. Tuesday and Wednesday look very nice indeed: sunshine and temperatures rising into near the mid-70's Wednesday. Thursday a new frontal system approaches the area with a good chance for showers and possible thunderstorm late in the evening into the overnight. Friday will bring a chance for a left over shower otherwise a comfortable early to mid May day. The weekend leading up to Mother's Day looks to warm up with highs approaching 80 Saturday and into the 80's on Mother's Day itself. This warm up will last into early next week. Not a heat wave. Just nice Mid May warmth. Enjoy.
