For all of us who dream of having snow for Christmas ... it does not look good. But it is still 10 days away. There will be weather systems moving about and how they interact with the cold air, will make all the difference. But the next 6 days does look rather non-snowy.
Rain re-arrives this evening/overnight and continues for most of the day Sunday. It would be heavy at times later tonight. Tomorrow if the back side of the storm is well developed, which it may be, but cannot tell yet, there could be a mixing with or changing over to wet snow. Areas to our north (Poconos) are almost certain to see some snow. But we may be too far south. Also, the higher elevations will see it before the valleys. A tough call, but do not be shocked if it does snow a little later tomorrow afternoon.
Cooler Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with highs averaging in the 30's to near 40. Then it gets milder. In fact it may turn warm ... for one day. Friday. if the next storm tracks over us or just to west, we could push 60 degrees. I'm not convinced it will happen. But the next storm is all rain. And some could be heavy.
Until then, enjoy.
