By the end of next weekend, many of us will be breathing a sign of relief: warm weather does exist. It will feel amazing, and shocking after this long bout of cold weather. But it is coming after Monday nights snow threat.
Yes, that is right, one more snow threat to go through. We missed Friday’s thanks for too much dry air evaporating the snow as it fell from the clouds above us, and Sat’s developed to far SE to impact us. So will Monday’s system avoid us too? Yes and no. What I mean is that yes, there won’t be much snow to talk about, because the system is weak, but it will not miss us. We are talking about a coating to 1” at most. Many of us may wake up and not see any snow on the ground at all! Because it melted. Then we begin our climb to warm weather. By Friday and Saturday, we should have highs approaching 70 if not higher. Do not get too used to it. A significant rain storm will impact us for Sun-Mon (15th-16th) and it will turn chilly again for several days afterwards. Yes, it will warm up. It will get rather warm. It will not last. It will turn chilly again. But winter weather (snow falls) are over starting Wednesday.
